Notes
- As in English, in Wolof, the possessiv determiner is used for persons that you actually do not possess. For example: "my wife: sama jabar", "my kid: sama doom"
- In Wolof, the gender of the possessor for the third person is irrelevant. "-am" means his, her or its
- For the third person singular, -am is attached at the end of the word.
